I am a politician, feminist, crossword puzzle lover and a real “Ruhrpott” child. My political commitment stems from my passion: since 2014, I have been a Member of the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament. I campaign for the rights of LGBTI people and against the exploitation of European workers. I am committed to women’s rights and to strengthening Europe’s regions.
Achievements we took for granted are subject to right-wing attacks these days. Opponents of democracy are trying to turn back time. Using my political work, I stand firmly against the backlash and I’ll keep fighting for a progressive and fair Europe!

We restate our determination to keep the flame of peace alive and to challenge nationalism and prejudice in our continent and across the world.
