Job description
- Support the work of the Youth Intergroup
- Provide research and briefings on EU policy issues, especially on youth
- Assist with the daily work of the Intergroup Chair and Bureau (briefings, notes, correspondence)
- Support the drafting of position papers
- Assistance in organising meetings, events and campaigns
- Attend conferences and prepare reports for the Youth Intergroup
- Establish relations with NGOs and youth organisations
- Contribute to other duties as assigned
Your profile
- Strong interest in politics
- Very good understanding of EU institutions and politics; working experience in the European Parliament is an asset
- Experience in organising meetings and events
- Fluency in English and, if possible, good understanding of French; knowledge of a third EU language is an asset
- High motivation and proactivity
- Very good research and writing skills
Practical information
- Location: European Parliament
- Duration: March 2016 until the end of legislature
- Remuneration: + /-1800 euros net
